EON Media launches AI media activation and monetization solutions in Europe at its IBC debut
Enabling organizations to find, understand, repurpose, license, and monetize their content

TORONTO, CANADA — September 2, 2026: EON Media will make its European debut at IBC2026 (September 11-14, RAI Amsterdam) in the show’s Future Tech Zone (Hall 14.FT5). The company is launching its award-winning content intelligence and activation solutions to enable content owners, digital platforms, governments, and sports organizations to unlock more value from live, archived, and legacy video and audio content by making it searchable, measurable, and easier to reuse.

“Broadcasters and media owners are sitting on enormous libraries of valuable content, but poor metadata means that too much of that content is effectively invisible,” said EON Media Founder and CEO Ashish Agrawal. “At IBC2026 we will demonstrate how our solutions make the invisible visible and reusable.”

Since its foundation in 2020, EON Media has developed in-house AI technology specifically for the media industry, allowing it to provide content owners with greater control over how proprietary material is processed and protected. Its models do not rely on third-party AI platforms, and EON Media supports environments in which media and data must remain isolated and securely controlled.

The company already works with a number of content owners, digital platforms, government and sports organizations in North America, including Cumulus Media, PBS, US Cycling, US Swimming and WRAL TV. It is now looking to Europe to expand its reach and provide European organizations with market-proven AI metadata solutions that turn media libraries into searchable, measurable assets.

“We founded EON Media because it was clear that AI could be an incredibly empowering tool for the media industry, but it could only do this if it could access comprehensive and accurate content metadata. To solve this metadata issue, we developed media-specific AI solutions that both generate accurate, comprehensive metadata and use it to monetize content more effectively. Our customers aren’t necessarily looking for AI solutions; what they really want is to reduce the time spent searching for content, reuse more of what they already have, gain better audience insight, and create new revenue opportunities. That is exactly what we are giving them,” adds Ashish Agrawal.

EON’s solutions process video and audio to create detailed, structured metadata that boosts monetization by discovering content in seconds, identifying and extracting relevant clips, understanding what has been broadcast, measuring brand and sponsorship exposure, and uncovering new opportunities to reuse and monetize existing programming.
EON Media’s solutions portfolio includes:
eonARCHIVESAI : Multimodal AI search and Archive Monetization, making media archives searchable and reusable
eonAudio: Discovery and Audience Measurement improves discoverability, expands listener touchpoints, and drives audience engagement
eonEXTRACT: Sponsorship tracking and ROI measurement revolutionize media metrics, going beyond traditional metrics to provide detailed analysis of logo and ad screen time.

From audio to video, EON Media delivers enhanced experiences for everyone

For video broadcasters and content owners, EON provides tools to turn fragmented or poorly indexed archives into searchable, usable catalogs. Users can search historic and current content, generate transcripts, locate specific moments, and extract clips for editorial, social, and commercial use.

EON’s video technology can also analyze live and recorded programming to identify brands and logos and measure their screen time, prominence, context, and frequency.

For radio and audio organizations, EON applies the same content activation approach to programming that may previously have had little or no useful metadata. The platform creates transcripts, summaries, topics, and other metadata while enabling advanced search across large audio libraries.

Radio teams can use EON to identify specific clips and shareable moments, understand topics discussed across programming, analyze content trends and competitors, and match existing programming to subjects that attract audience attention on social platforms.

“The future of content is activation. Not just producing more and more content, but giving owners and audiences new ways to use it. Eon Media helps content owners unlock the full potential of what they have already recorded. We believe technology should go beyond solving problems. It must simplify and significantly enhance experiences for everyone,” concluded Ashish Agrawal.
